does anyone know anything about a mega millions jackpot scam going around? I received a letter and a check but with a 778 area code to call. I do play the mega when it gets high and send in the second chances once in a while. The check looks real. But as the saying goes, if it sounds too good to be true it probably is. But the lottery is won by real people so I don’t want to miss my chance if it is real. Please help with yor knowledge and advise.

Lump sum is approx. 60% of total jackpot. Currently you will get $75.2 million(of a $125 Million jackpot), before taxes.

Or you get 26 annual payments of $38,500 per million won. The current jackpot is $125 million, so you would get $4,812,500 before taxes per year for 26 years.

What is the best option? Clearly I am going to win this thing on Tuesday.

It seems the higher the jackpot the more “unlikely” numbers show up(meaning they’re not spread out normally through the number spectrum”.
I know they couldn’t set up who wins, but do they set up what drawing somebody does win!?
