King Felix asked:

scream and kick your legs in the air and walk out right there

or

or

christina30 on 3 March, 2009 at 2:49 am #

Tell my boss to **** off and leave.

AKA FrogButt on 4 March, 2009 at 2:09 am #

Wait until my shift was over.

Greidi on 4 March, 2009 at 4:51 am #

If I hated my job i’d leave and not come back.

If I liked it there, i’d wait till 5, go get my money the next day then give my 2 weeks.

?Loved on 5 March, 2009 at 10:30 pm #

I wouldnt tell anyone about my winning….
being who I am I would give a two week notice

i l r on 8 March, 2009 at 7:21 am #

i would give 2 weeks.. i like my boss

Elanshaw on 11 March, 2009 at 8:57 am #

Quit at the end of the day..and be gloriously free!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

? Bellydancer ? on 12 March, 2009 at 11:51 pm #

I wouldn’t tell a soul! I would go to a quiet place and jump for joy!!!! work until I retired :) why quit? you blow off more money that way.

When you retire, retire BIG!!!!

A.Mercer on 15 March, 2009 at 10:06 pm #

None of the above.

I would see about how much time it would take to confirm that I won. Every now and then you read about some guy who thought he had won the lottery and he quit his job and started to make changes to his life and then learn that he did not actually win the lottery.

After it was confirmed, I would turn it a two weeks notice and quietly get out of there. 1. To do things that I want to do and 2. To get away from people who will now be wanting me to give them money.

little mama on 16 March, 2009 at 12:12 am #

I’d go with the first one for that kind of jackpot. I’m outta here, see ya not.

Kathleen M on 17 March, 2009 at 2:43 pm #

I’d quit right then and there. But I wouldn’t run around telling everyone else (then everyone wants a loan or gift)

Jessica S on 17 March, 2009 at 3:05 pm #

I would walk up to my boss and give him the finger and moon the place as I was leaving

Troll Terminator on 21 March, 2009 at 2:18 am #

The first thing I’d do is sign the ticket and then take a picture with me holding the ticket. Just in case someone tries to steal it. Then I’d call into work only saying that I need a few days off. Just long enough for me to go to the lottery offices and have it verified as the winning ticket. Then after it’s been confirmed as the winner, I’d jump for joy and call my boss and tell them to take this job and shove it. Then I’d go out and by myself a brand new Corvette.

Autumn on 22 March, 2009 at 3:46 am #

Walk out right at that moment…..Bye Bye!

HoyaDoc on 24 March, 2009 at 7:21 pm #

leaving in the middle could get me arrested and i’d lose my license, but i’d probably take a good long time off and then go do something i enjoyed that is not so high stress.

but i would def scream and shout and kick my legs in the air!

Flicka on 26 March, 2009 at 12:45 pm #

defiantly scream and kick jump in the air then walk out

7doggzzmama on 27 March, 2009 at 2:17 am #

i’d go home sick and figure out what i wanted to do.

Bostitch on 28 March, 2009 at 2:17 am #

Keep quiet. Do nothing more literally. Make my financial plans and payoffs, plan when to pick-up the loot, plan what I’m going to splurge on, go home and then scream and kick my legs in the air!
Sing: Here’s a lil song I wrote, I’m gonna sing note for note, I’m rich and I’m happy!

Axle on 29 March, 2009 at 3:13 am #

I would give my two weeks but not show up for work

steelmillcowboy on 5 April, 2009 at 6:23 pm #

HS on 7 April, 2009 at 5:15 am #

Not beleive it of course. I’d finish work. When I finally saw the amt in my bank account, accompanied by an officer of my bank, I’d beleive it ; then & only then.

nikki on 8 April, 2009 at 11:05 am #

i would keep my mouth shut till i got home so i dont get jumped or attacked for the winning ticket. i wont leave my shift early though, i wouldnt want any one to think any thing was up. i dont think id quit though. id rather be out with other people then just stay home all day and do nothing. i wouldnt work as much though

Tony M on 9 April, 2009 at 11:40 am #

I would give two weeks notice, then I would leave the job.

sasha1641 on 9 April, 2009 at 11:45 am #

Ohhhhhh Pleez pick my answer!!!!
memememe

I would call my boss at home- see I work evening shift and she is at home in bed while I slave away at work-
but to get back to the subject~~~~~~
I would call her at~~perhaps 2am when I am ready to leave for the night~~~~
and say~~~
hey~~~~witch~~~I don’t think I will in be today.
Maybe later in the week.
BUT it will be at my convenience.

reg on 11 April, 2009 at 6:56 pm #

I would sit quietly at my desk. Turn my two weeks notice before the end of the day. And basically keep quiet about the money. People suddenly become your very needy best friend when they hear you’ve got some money coming your way. I’ll just tell them I’m moving out of state to live with my parents so they’ll think I’m pathetic and not bother to keep in touch with me.

morningmud on 11 April, 2009 at 10:03 pm #

I would want to walk but I’d probably feel bad for leaving and give notice.

Beau R on 12 April, 2009 at 4:18 pm #

I’d quietly leave at the end of my shift. I’d have to ask several questions. Did I win the whole amount? In many instances you open yourself up to lawsuits, when people find out about it. Am I in a profession as a caregiver, that I would be sued, on a false injury claim. What would I do to safeguard the money after I collected it? These are questions that no one thinks about, if they win a large sum of money.

maej on 14 April, 2009 at 9:08 pm #

finish my work.. i just can’t leave like that…
submite my resignation at the end of the day and wait for a month before leaving..
that’s how it is done around here.

blink19782002 on 17 April, 2009 at 1:13 am #

well first i’d make sure i didn’t have prank ticket…then i’d be loud and obnoxious and quit right there on the spot
